Defrost TMF MDRT237 237L（Gross)
How to Defrost the Midea MDRT237
1. Turn off the power: Unplug the refrigerator cord directly from the wall outlet. Keep the freezer and refrigerator doors open to speed up the melting process.
2. Empty the contents: Remove all food items. Place frozen foods into a cooler or insulated bag with ice packs to prevent them from thawing.
3. Collect the melting water: Place towels or shallow trays at the base of the freezer compartment to catch the water as the ice melts.
4. Remove heavy ice buildup: If there are thick blocks of ice, you can use a plastic scraper to gently pry them away. Never use sharp metal objects, knives, or screwdrivers, as they can easily puncture the evaporator coils and permanently ruin the refrigerator.
5. Clean and dry: Once all the ice has completely melted, wipe the entire interior with a clean cloth. Ensure the freezer is completely dry before turning it back on to prevent immediate frost reformation.
6. Restart: Plug the unit back in, set your mechanical temperature control dial to your desired setting, and allow it to cool down before putting the food back inside.

Product Information
The Midea MDRT237 is a 237-liter gross capacity (173-liter net capacity) top-mount double-door refrigerator that uses a manual defrost system for the freezer and a semi-automatic defrost system for the fridge compartment.
Because it uses Direct Cool technology, frost will naturally build up over time in the freezer section and must be manually cleared to maintain optimal cooling efficiency and reduce power consumption
